2008 Trash & Recycling Holiday Schedule

Public notices about trash removal appear in
the Gloucester County Times.

Please note, throughout the year there is no residential trash pick up on Mondays.

NEW YEARS DAY 2008:
Tuesday January 1, 2008- To be collected Monday December 31

MARTIN LUTHER KING BIRTHDAY:
Monday Jan. 21- No Monday Recycling collection – to be collected throughout the week.

LINCOLN’S BIRTHDAY:
Celebrated Monday February 11 – No Monday Recycling collection – to be collected throughout the week.

PRESIDENTS DAY:
Monday Feb. 18 -No Monday Recycling collection – to be collected throughout the week.

GOOD FRIDAY:
Friday March 21- Trash and Recyclables to be collected Monday March 24

MEMORIAL DAY:
Monday May 26 -No Monday Recycling collection – to be collected throughout the week.

NOTE: Trash collection begins at 6am until Labor Day. Highway hours 6am-2pm.

INDEPENDENCE DAY:
Friday July 4 - Trash and Recycling will be collected on Monday July 7

LABOR DAY:
Monday Sept 1- No Monday Recycling collection – to be collected throughout the week.

NOTE: Trash collection begins at 7am until Memorial Day. Highway hours 7am-3pm.

COLUMBUS DAY:
Celebrated Oct. 13 -No Monday Recycling collection – to be collected throughout the week.

ELECTION DAY:
Tuesday November 4- Normal trash collection.

VETERANS DAY:
Tuesday November 11- To be collected Wednesday November 12

THANKSGIVING DAY and DAY AFTER:
Thursday November 27 Trash and Recyclables
to be collected Friday November 28
Friday November 28 Trash and Recyclables
to be collected Monday December 1

CHRISTMAS:
Thursday December 25 Trash and Recyclables
to be collected Friday December 26
Friday December 26 Trash and Recyclables
to be collected Monday December 29
