Glassboro’s economy is very diverse with development taking place in a number of different areas around the Borough. The University is the main employer and helps support the employee base of our manufacturers and commercial retailers. The partnership between the University and the Borough is proving to be a great asset to the successful development around the community. It is the goal of the town leaders for Glassboro to become the first and only town and gown community in South Jersey.
