History - The Future
Glassboro is a progressive community, always looking to the future. In a partnership between the municipality, University and local public schools a Cyber District is being developed in the downtown business area, that will provide businesses with the most technically advanced broadband services available in the County.
As the infrastructure of the downtown is continually being revitalized, there are plans to construct a new street that will directly link the University campus to the downtown business area. The new “street” will create additional pedestrian and automotive activity in the center of town. In addition, several local based non-profit organizations are working together to establish an arts district along the main fairway of the downtown.
As you can see there are many exciting things going on and planned for the Borough of Glassboro. We hope you join us and become part of the intricate tapestry of this vibrant South Jersey community.
